Very… very drunk

This was recorded 27.12.2008 in Moscow. A store advertised laptops on sale at 80% off! But what they didn’t mention in their advertisements was that there was only 10 available.

A tarantula was spotted lurking in a bunch of grapes – as a father prepared to give them to his four-year-old boy.

Kevin Hudson, 40, of Elmswell, Suffolk, found the spider in the grapes he had bought at Asda, in nearby Stowmarket, as he washed them for son Rhys.

He caught the 2.5in (5cm) creature and took it to his local vet and it is now being housed at a local reptile centre.

The spider, docile after two days in the fridge, was caught in a plastic box and taken to a local vet, and is now housed at Abbey Aquatics and Reptiles.

The Swedish design chain Ikea is offering a first for the retail industry – customers will be able to stay in the store overnight if they haven’t finished their shopping. Ikea warehouses in Norway will test out the scheme.

Every night the 30 customers permitted to sleep over will be able to stock up on meatballs, Norwegian salmon and cranberry mousse as Ikea is offering free dinner and breakfast. Customers will also be able to take their bedsheets home as a souvenir!
