Little Khagendra Thapa Magar is the world’s smallest man – in waiting.

He can’t wait until his 18th birthday in October when he can officially claim the title.

He and his family are so excited they are already in contact with Guinness to take the official crown from 2ft 5in He Ping Ping of China.

Magar, 17, stands just two feet tall and weighs only 10lbs.

The smallest man in the world has been hanging out with the woman with the world’s longest legs in Trafalgar Square.

A teenager from India who stands at a tiny 1ft 11in (58cm) tall is the smallest girl in the world. Jyoti Amge, 14, is shorter than the average two-year-old child and only weighs 11lb (5kg).

At a mere 17 inches, the miniature brown mare known as Thumbelina takes pride in the lofty title of the World’s Smallest Living Horse. Her companion, Radar, is a Belgian draught horse with his own big claim to fame – as the World’s Tallest Living Horse. At their get-together, the two didn’t exactly see eye to eye.

It was the first time the world’s smallest and tallest horses had been photographed together. Their portrait will be featured in the 2008 edition of the Guinness World Records book, which is published next week.
