Browser Addon: Enchanced Browser Search With Inquisitor

inquisitor.jpgYahoo has been a tough competitor of Google, in recent times we have noticed that Yahoo has come up with new and innovative tools and services to give Google a tough time.

In this process of giving competition Yahoo has recently released a plug-in that gives boost up to search box of Internet Explorer, Firefox & Safari. This is plug-in is named as Inquisitor.

It shows suggested keywords as user start typing their search query and gives a list of best match sites right below the search box, it also highlights the website which user has already visited, while in Internet Explorer it can retrieve the pages which you bookmarked a few months ago.

Inquisitor was first released in May for Apple Safari browser, after acquiring Inquisitor, however Yahoo has now brought it for most popular browsers Internet Explorer and Firefox.

Firefox, Opera, Safari. So many good browsers (IE is not a good browser). Which of them is the fastest?
At Browser World they did the test for us, on a clean installation of Windows XP Pro SP2 on a Pentium 4 desktop with 512MB of RAM.

The tests include tntallation time, loading time, memopry usage, page loading and the results are interesting.

Opera came in first by winning all the tests, while Safari was second. Firefox came last.
