Wet and windy approach into London City

London City runway 28 on a cloudy and rainny day in January 2006 with a gusty wind from the southwest. A steep approach path of 5.5 degrees is standard here because of the high obstacles on both sides of the runway, leading to a narrow and small runway in the middle of the Thames River in downtown London.
