You have basically two options if you want to convert a video from one format into another. You can either use software programs that run on the computer system to convert the videos or use online converters to do the same. Both methods have their limitations and uses. The desktop video converter can for example handle files of any size (limited usually by the file system) while online converters limit the file size due to their nature. This usually means that it is not possible to upload files that are several hundred Megabytes to an online video converter. The online video converters on the other hand can sometimes access videos that are posted on other websites directly. Up to five videos that do not exceed a total size of 100 Megabytes and an individual playtime of 10 minutes can either be uploaded or entered with their url in the online video converter.
