Beijing’s burgeoning art district has a new symbol for its growing influence in the global art world -a giant farting bull.

Created by sculptor Chen Wenling, the 20-foot statue depicts a big fiberglass bull that rams a devil figure with its horns while making whoopie so hard the devil crashes into a wall.

An “artist” from Costa Rica – Guillermo Habacuc Vargas – as an installation piece took a dog from the street and caused it to suffer and starve to death in the name of Art.

Last year, the Costa Rican ‘artist’ is alleged to have paid some children to chase and catch an abandoned dog. He is said to have tied the animal by a very short rope to the wall of an art gallery in Managua and left it there for several days, without food or water, until it died.
