Goa Trance. Recently I found at youtube two of the best ever tracks of GOA. Both of them from the album “The promised land” of Chakra & Edi Mis. My personal opinion is, this is the best ever album of GOA trance. Released in 1996 (13 years old), by Krembo Records in Israel, contains some “diamonds”. Two of them are:

A week ago, I discover the great Enigma’s song “Seven Lives”. Listening the song, came into my mind the similarity with the song “Someone Else” by Allegro ft. LV, especially at the violin sections. So, I decided to mix these two songs, trying to persuade a friend of mine for the similarity of these songs. The result is called “Seven Lives of Someone Else”!!!

About 4 hours and 30 minutes containing 93 tracks!
It’s almost a complete live mix set recorded mid-June. As always, it contains mainly Trance and House music.
At the end of the set there is the “classic” Greek and Med transition, starting at track 89. I left, at this set, five Greek and Med tracks, because I thing they’re quite interesting!

Also… at this set, I’ve decided to experiment, playing a couple of GOA Trance tunes (starting at track 69). GOA, is one of my favorite genres, I’m afraid to play live, because I believe, the younger audience has no “hearing connection” with this style. My fault!!! The audience, gone crazy!!! Ok. They’re not aware of the GOA music, because a lot of people asking about the music style and name of the tracks I was playing, but their comments was awesome!
I think, I’m going to rip my vinyl collection of GOA and start playing it more frequently :-)

So…

I have a couple of great summer sets ready. These sets include some great Trance & House tracks, according my personal music taste and rhythm continuity, but I’m bored to convert and upload them because their interesting part (not their Greek part) are more than 2 hours long (1+Gb of wav files).
I had the bad idea to upload them into compressed files, containing the original WAV (loosless) format for better hearing experience but I came out with 5×100 Mb RAR files and… I don’t ever think of uploading them.

I’ll try again this weekend to convert them into mp3 files, trying to get smaller compressed files. So, please be patient.

This summer (till now) is somehow, short of great Trance & House tracks. Maybe I’m unable to find some really cool tracks. I’ll appreciate any suggestion of good tracks. Just drop me a comment. I’m really short of ideas for my future sets.
