Cool: Too Cool And Too Expensive Hi-Tech Rooms
These are 6 amazing Hi-Tech, custom made rooms with full photo coverage. What can I say? Shame on me, but I feel jealousy! Watch and cry!
1. The Ultimate Home Office
News, sports, movies-this homeowner can watch ‘em all at once on the 70-inch Sony Qualia and four 32-inch Sony TVs in his home office. He can control the room’s video, audio and lighting from his desk via an AMX wireless color touchpanel.
2. The $100,000 5-in-1 Home Theater
In addition to being able to watch five sports games at once, this $100,000 home theater boasts “two Paradigm Signature S8 tower speakers, two Paradigm 15-inch subwoofers, a Paradigm center-channel speaker, and four in-wall Paradigm speakers.” A 144-inch Draper screen gets its video from a Sharp HD DLP projector, and it’s flanked by four Samsung 42-inch high-def plasma screens

3. The $3.4-million Ultimate In-Home Theater
It consists of twenty four subwoofers, professionally tuned CAT / MBX speakers, top of the line Runco MBX-1 projector, and touchscreen controls. The flamboyant in-house cinema room boasts 24-karat gold gilding details, hand embroidered fabric seats and genuine antique candle holders throughout. That’s nothing compared to the technology behind the flush finish.

4. The Incredible Indiana Jones Home Theater
A Canadian couple contracted Jade Security to design an Indiana Jones-themed theater room, and that they did. In six short weeks they did all of the design and construction that would bring this theme theater to life.

5. The $8.5-Million NYC Penthouse
If you thought your pad was a gadget lovers paradise, then check out this $8.5-million penthouse, located in NYC, overlooking Central Park.

6. The $30,000 747 Simulator Bedroom
It took John Davis eight years and $30,000+ to build this amazing Boeing 747 flight simulator in a spare bedroom — powered by “Microsoft Flight Simulator for the visuals, as well as the Aerowinx PS1, which has about 30 different programs.”
The main screen measures 12 ft x 9 ft, and it made by himself, and there is a 19-inch flat screen on each side. Other stuff (like the autopilot system, throttles and weather radar) was sourced from the internet. The cockpit made by himself from wood!
