The Swedish design chain Ikea is offering a first for the retail industry - customers will be able to stay in the store overnight if they haven’t finished their shopping. Ikea warehouses in Norway will test out the scheme.

Every night the 30 customers permitted to sleep over will be able to stock up on meatballs, Norwegian salmon and cranberry mousse as Ikea is offering free dinner and breakfast. Customers will also be able to take their bedsheets home as a souvenir!
