Ubuntu Linux 7.04
I’m ready to take back everything I’ve posted on “Give Desktop Linux a try? No thank you!“. The newer version of Ubuntu Linux is really a “out of the box” solution for a desktop user. Much easier than Windows XP, more beautiful than Windows Vista with that Beryl thing just rocking… Nothing similar. Nothing more eye catching. Nothing more user friendly (Sorry Mac users. I’ve never had a Mac!).
Easy as hell, for a lazy man like me, I did nothing more than installing the release and my notebook was ready to run having all the hardware recognized without a single click (almost). I’m looking forward to install it on my desktop PC where I had a series of problems with the previous release.
