I spent New Year’s Eve 1975 in Coroico. I got there on a large bus from La Paz. That night it rained. The return trip to La Paz on the bus was cancelled. We hitchhiked the next day and got a ride in a jeep but the road wasn’t passable because there was a mud slide. When we bought the bus tickets to Coroico no one told us we were going to be on the “road of death”. Praying came naturally.

I meant where inbolivia? i googled for it and i couldn’t find anything else related to it. i kept seeing some death road or seomthing.
