Some really challenging crosswind landings in a very windy day at Portuguese, Lisbon Airport. There are a couple of missed approaches.

for the record, the portuguese government believes that the new Lisboa Airport will be working in seven years. I used to disagree with the new airport, too expensive for a country with poor finances, but after this footage, i’m not sure of my opinion.

Why did the pilots risk the lives of those on board by even thinking of landing in such bad conditions? If I was on the flight deck I would divert.
