I really want to try this new XGL. I have seen many videos of it in action and i love it. Better than any windows GUI i have seen. I no it is going oficial in SUSE linux Enterprise 10 i think. Could you please give me a a run down on how to install it. i am using the distro. Kubuntu Linux 6.06. I dont no where to start with installing and getting this to work. Please help.
jmorgan: download the openSUSE dvd. once it’s installed install the packages xgl, compiz, and xgl-hardware. Then follow the instructions on opensuse.org. It’s really easy to get up and running.
