Monopoly, now with Visa

Monopoly board game players can now pay for properties with debit cards.
Game makers Parker have phased out the standard multi-coloured cash in a new version.
Players will instead use a Visa mock debit card to keep track of how much they win or lose.
It is inserted into an electronic machine where the banker taps in cardholders’ earnings and payments.
Monopoly Here and Now Electronic Banking costs around £24.99, compared to £12.99 for the standard “cash” version.

Why do only ever spot the other bloggers who written about something AFTER I have?

Not worth the extra £12 IMHO.
If you lose a few notes, you can still play the game, but lose one of the cards and you’re screwed.

i love my electronic banking edition of monopoly. monopoly has never been a child’s game because of the whole money and property concepts so the credit card idea is great. most adults are aware of the uses. and the game is easily laid out and i am grateful i purchased one. i might just get one more.
